External lectures
Members of the Museum staff regularly deliver lectures on the history of the Royal Mint and the British coinage to a wide variety of audiences. In the last year we have visited local and national numismatic and historical societies, Women’s Institute meetings, Probus clubs, Sight Cymru meetings and Rotary clubs.
Our lectures are fully accessible with talks available for those with varying degrees of visual and auditory impairment. We also welcome enquiries from individuals and groups with learning disabilities.
The Museum team are happy to discuss specific areas of interest and subjects for recent lectures have included the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria, the legacy of Sir Isaac Newton and the story of the Royal Mint during First World War.
No fee is charged for this service however to support the Museum’s outreach we welcome donations.
