FAQs
Below you can find a list of our frequently asked questions. If you have a question you would like us to answer that isn’t here, please email decimalisation@royalmint.com.
What is Museum in a Box?
A Museum in a Box is a small acrylic box which comes with a collection of objects for people to handle and look at. Each object has its own sticker, which when placed on the box plays an audio file specific to that item. The audio files relating to this collection tell the fictional story of Linda Thomas, a local resident of Llantrisant who shares her experiences of decimalisation as she lives through the changeover, prompting those taking part in the session to share their own memories of the time.
